Through a series of agility drills, light conditioning and strengthening movements plus, instruction from former Division I and professional strength and conditioning coach, Todd Kensler, CSCS.
Every athlete has the ability to unlock their hidden potential.
No matter their skill level each athlete will succeed both physically and mentally.
There is plenty of talk of explosiveness in baseball / softball.
However, if you do not incorporate a sound core program into your training, explosive training will only get you so far.
Many think that the core is simply having “six pack” abs.
This could not be farther from the truth. Core strength ranges from the lower pelvis, front and back to the just under the breastplate, front and back.
If you truly want to obtain hitting power you must obtain core strength.
And just doing sit ups is not the answer.
Training provided through Hitters Edge with Todd Kensler, CSCS, will insure the development of all the key components of a strong core.
The games of baseball and softball revolve around speed and quickness.
Being able to get to a ball in the hole or in the gap could mean
the difference in a win or a loss.
Our drills are set up with the movements of baseball and softball in mind.
Movement in all directions is equally as important as
just simply running straight ahead.
Throughout each session we will focus on making you a better,
more complete athlete.
You will not only achieve physical success but mental success.
Facing challenges and conquering them provide athletes with an edge.
The more confident you are on the field, the better you will play.
